Brian Hooks Special Event Comedy Show

Brian Hooks is a highly prolific actor, producer, director, and comic. Rather its starring in blockbuster comedies like Fool’s Gold along side Matthew McConaughey and Kevin Hart, or starring along side Jimmy Fallon in independent jewels like The $cheme, Brian has been quietly making his mark around Hollywood for years.

Brian’s first major role in film occurred as the central character in the urban classic Phat Beach, which was written and directed by Doug Ellin creator of HBO’s Entourage. Thereafter Brian landed roles in many blockbuster films such as High School High, Bulworth, Beloved, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Soul Plane, and the urban classic 3 Strikes. His big-screen notoriety was accompanied by his concurrent roles in many television series, such as NYPD Blue, ER, The Parkers, Amazon’s Hand of God, Vin Diesel’s The Ropes, and a series regular on the hit TV show EVE.

In addition to the studio and network success, his biggest accomplishments came through his independent filmmaking. After developing and producing a low-budget film that produced a remarkable 5000% on investment, Q: The Movie, Brian was able to observe the distinct advantages, and lucrative nature of successfully creating and developing motion pictures. Backed by major film distributors such as MGM, Brian produced a number of independent films that were extremely successful. In fact, his procession of independent films was so wildly popular and successful throughout urban America that he was once anointed “The King of DVD” by the urban media. This created a foundation of loyal followers who continuously supports Brian to this day.

Most recently, Brian has just finished his latest independent film ADAM + EVE. Ad drama produced, written, and directed by Brian. The film is set to be released early 2021. Next up for Brian is a collaboration with Queen Latifah’s company Flavor Unit Entertainment. Brian has struck a deal to co-produce his next film “Relationship Goals” with the company. It’s an ensemble romantic comedy with plans to shoot abroad. The buzz around Hollywood is that this film will be a box office smash!

Brian is now bringing his talents to the stage, sharing his personal stories, morals, and beliefs through laughter. In light of the convincing success of his many previous film, television, and comedy endeavors, considerable achievements undoubtedly remain on the horizon in the multi-dimensional career of Brian Hooks.
