Carly Polistina is the quirky, sleep talking product of a Catholic School education. Friends have told Carly she is the girl that falls into the trashcan within the first five minutes of a movie as a voice over asks, "You're probably wondering how I got here". Her comedy is the answer to this question.
Her comedy has taken her all over the country, performing at Flappers Comedy Club, Laugh Boston, Gotham Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, and LA Comedy Club as part of WSOC. (Apparently, awkwardness is one of those universal truths.) She was a 2021 Ladies of Laughter Finalist, Burbank Comedy Festival Best of Fest, and WSOC Top 101. As a recovering acting major and unyielding optimist, Polistina frequently finds herself in the throws of incredibly awkward situations(like how-could-this-situation-even-be-real kind awkward), and she uses her comedy to navigate life as a single 24 year old during a pandemic.
Outside of stand-up, Carly is an award nominated actress, an award placing sketch writer, celebrity recognized impressionist, an on-and-off viral TikToker (@carlypolistina), and a passionate lover of Kraft mac-and-cheese. She is a New York City produced playwright, and co-produced, co-starred in, and co-wrote a television pilot called Kissing Cousins (It's not what you think).
Polistina is constantly creating. She loves every facet of what she does and has unlimited energy towards it. Wherever she goes, she is sure to bring her unmistakable kindergarden-teacher-that-turns-to-her-students-for-life-advice vibe.
